Hello! I'm Kainaz, the founder of Petit Pookie.
Based in Surrey, I hold a HND / BA Honours Degree in Clothing Design and Technology from Manchester Metropolitan University, and have spent the last 20 years immersed in the fashion industry. My journey with Petit Pookie began during the COVID-19 pandemic when I started personalising gifts for friends and family as a hobby. This passion quickly grew, and I decided to take the plunge and turn it into a full-time business. After all, if you don’t try, you’ll never know!
Personalised gifts have always been a joy for me. I love the thoughtfulness and uniqueness they bring, and I've always chosen personalised items for my own children. When my first child was born, she earned the nickname "Pookie," a name that carried over to my second child, who became "Petit Pookie." Inspired by my children and my love for creating meaningful gifts, Petit Pookie was born.
